Shelton Police Probe Links In Smash-And-Grab Burglaries In Several Towns

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A recent rash of convenience store and gas station thefts have police in Fairfield County joining forces and asking for the public’s help in tracking down the culprits, according to a report in the ctpost.

Shelton police are asking anyone with information about this man, who's wanted in the break-in at The Mont’s Mart on Leavenworth Road, to call them confidentially at (203) 924-1544.

Smash-and-grab burglaries and a theft – in which cash, cigarettes, and other items were stolen – have been reported in Shelton, Norwalk, and Monroe, according to reports in the Daily Voice; and in Trumbull, according to the Trumbull Times.

Trumbull police said while authorities from these communities are meeting regularly to share information about the incidents, they still are hoping to get tips from the public that will crack the cases, the ctpost reported.
