Shelton Police Make Arrest In Series Of Burglaries

SHELTON, Conn. -- Shelton police made an arrest in connection with a string of residential burglaries that occurred over the course of 2015 spread throughout several area towns, according to police.

Shelton police arrested Kevin Lesko, 48, of Shelton, on Feb. 23, charging him with third-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, according to police.

The Orange, Trumbull, Stratford, Milford, Monroe, Woodbridge, and Shelton police departments working together were reportedly able to link Lesko to several burglaries that occurred during 2015, said police.

Lesko, who is currently incarcerated, was arrested at Derby Superior Courthouse and was placed on a $15,000 bond pursuant to the Shelton arrest, according to police.

He was arraigned on Feb. 23, said police.
