At about 11:45 a.m. Sunday, the mother of Theodore Bortnick alerted police around 11:45 a.m. that she awoke Sunday morning and could not locate her son, Theodore Bortnick, police said.
Officers responded to 70 Longfellow Road in Shelton and canvassed the area, police said. They found Bortnick's body in a drainage ravine on the property, police said.
The Connecticut State Police Major Crime team responded to process the scene.
The Shelton Police Department is actively investigating the death, however, there is no indication of any foul play at this time, police said.
