SHELTON, Conn. — A 36-year-old man from New Haven was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle in the fatal hit-and-run of a bicyclist in Shelton back in late December, police said.
Ryder Kingsley turned himself in to police Friday, Sept. 2, after he learned of the warrant for his arrest, police said. He was also charged with evading responsibility, police said.
Kingsley was placed on $100,000 bond and transported to Derby Superior Court for arraignment.
Avid bike rider Brian “Buzz” Climis, 55, an Ansonia grandfather, was hit at about 7:45 a.m.n Dec. 23 while riding on Bridgeport Avenue, and died later that day.
