Moving Company Worker Faces Gun Theft Charge In Shelton

SHELTON, CONN. -- A 44-year-old Milford man facing a conspiracy charge after Shelton police say he and a fellow moving company employee worked together to take a gun from a person who hired the movers to help him relocate, according to the Shelton Herald.

Shelton police arrested a second moving company employee Tuesday in connection with a missing gun case, the Shelton Herald reports.

Nicholas Patch was arrested Tuesday, and released on bond with a Sept. 9 court date, the Shelton Herald reoprted. His co-worker, David Trotta of Stratford, was arrested April 28, the day the gun was reported missing, according to the Shelton Herald.

The victim found the gun missing when he went back to his former house to move the gun himself, police told the Shelton Herald. It was found later in the woods down the street, the Shelton Herald said.
