Updated: SHELTON, Conn. -- Shelton firefighters extinguished a kitchen fire in a Bridgeport Avenue restaurant on Tuesday morning, according to the ctpost.com.

The call came in at 8:20 a.m. after a fire was sparked at the Asian Bistro, said the ctpost.com.

The manager told the Post that the fire was minor, and that the Asian Bistro would reopen in a couple of days when cleanup is complete.
