Driver Sent To Hospital After Rollover Crash On Route 8

SHELTON, Conn. — A person was ejected from a car during a rollover crash on Route 8 in Shelton late Friday afternoon, according to a Facebook post from Echo Hose and Fire Company.

The rollover accident happened on Route 8 south near Exit 11 in Shelton.

At 4:53 p.m., fire companies responded to the motor vehicle accident on Route 8 south near Exit 11, the post said.

Squad 1 and Engine 2 found a vehicle that rolled over with the occupant ejected. The person was treated and transported to the hospital by EMS.

No further information was released on the accident.
