Delivery Driver Accused Of Stealing Thousands From Distributor In Area

A former delivery driver for an area distribution company was arrested over the weekend after an investigation found he allegedly stole thousands of dollars from his employer.

Officers from the Milford Police Department were dispatched to the Golden Dragon Distributors on Quarry Road on Sunday, Oct. 28, where there was a report of an employee stealing cash.

Police said that an investigation into the alleged theft determined that Qingrong Wang of Flushing in Queens allegedly took approximately $8,500 from the distributor while working as a delivery driver.

Wang, 39, was arrested and charged with third-degree larceny. Following his arraignment, Wang was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20.
