SHELTON, Conn. — A car slammed into a rock wall and burst into flames Saturday morning on southbound Route 8 in Shelton, according to a Facebook post from Echo Hose Hook & Ladder Co. 1.
Fire crews responded at about 8:15 a.m., the post said. They found a single motor vehicle on fire and up against the rock wall.
Injuries were reported in the crash, but no further details were reported.
