30-Year-Old Man Charged In Road Rage Incident In Shelton

SHELTON, Conn. — A 30-year-old Ansonia man was arrested in connection with a road rage incident on Route 8 in Shelton on Saturday morning, according to Connecticut State Police.

The road rage incident at 9 a.m. resulted in an altercation between two individuals on southbound Route 8, state police said. No further details were released. 

Mark Wingster was charged with interfering with an officer, assault on a police officer, reckless driving, risk of injury to a child, breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Bond was set at $10,000 for Wingster, who is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on Aug. 21.
