Route 110 In Shelton Closed After Serious Car Crash

SHELTON, Conn. — River Road, also known as Route 110, in Shelton was closed Friday afternoon following a serious car accident, according to NBC Connecticut.

Route 110 is closed for nearly a mile near the Sports Center of Connecticut.

The closure is from Murphy’s Lane to Long Hill Avenue, north of Sikorsky and in the vicinity of the Connecticut Sport Center, NBC 30 said. The crash was at about 2 p.m., police said.
