David Piscotta won the "Images 2017" contest for his photograph "Zion Sky" and Kristie Kistner of Fairfield for her photo "Awestruck."
They were picked from 600 entries submitted in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York.
The winners were announced on Fairfield County’s Giving Day last week when the museum raised $6,000 through the online fundraiser.
Kistner’s prize will be an exhibition at Southport Galleries, the exhibition sponsor, and Pisciotta will receive a professional portfolio review.
The winning photos and photographs by Joe Standart, whose images capture the ever-changing subtleties of light and mood, are on exhibit now at the museum.
"Images 2017" is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and runs to April 30 at the museum, 370 Beach Road.
