Shelton Heads To Jones Family Farms For Christmas Trees

SHELTON, Conn. — The Jones Family Farm in Shelton has been around for more than 150 years and continues to be one of the 'go-to' places in the area for Christmas trees.

Guests can roam the more than 200 acres and cut their own trees, or buy one already cut, as well as purchase wreaths, garland, bows and much more.

The Jones Winery Tasting Room is also a popular stop, and there's a gift shop and a Harvest Kitchen Christmas Canteen.

If you've never cut your own tree, this might be the year — and the weekend to do it. Temperatures in the upper 50s and even 60 are predicted under sunny skies – making it easier to brave the day in the great outdoors.
