Stanziato's Wood Fired Pizza is located at 35 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.
The restaurant serves artisanal-style pizzas, and owners say they source organic and in-season ingredients from local farmers when possible.
Some pizzas offered on the menu include "The Vespa," made with mozzarella, arugula, prosciutto and Parmigiano, along with a lobster pizza made with mussel sauce and classics like pepperoni and Margherita.
"Amazing pizza!! I've had the margherita and vespa and both were so good! the vodka sauce is really good too! I recommend getting some to dip your pizza crust in," Meagen D., of White Plains, wrote in a Yelp review.
The restaurant also offers a variety of pasta dishes, salads and burgers, along with starters including garlic cheese bread and fried calamari.
A number of online reviewers have praised the restaurant's steamed mussels starter.
"Love the atmosphere here! Staff is so friendly and fun. Winter salad and mussels are an absolute MUST, dont even bother getting the half sizes because you're going to wish you ordered the full," Malissa S., of New Rochelle, said in a Yelp review.
