The Holiday Markets are part of the Downtown Handmade Market series and will be held on Dec. 5, 12 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Celebrate Shelton is a city-wide initiative focusing on small businesses and the community that surrounds them.

Vendors will sell art, health, beauty, food, kitchen and household items, clothing and accessories, kids and pet items and more.

The idea behind the Downtown Handmade Market is when people shop local, they are supporting local entrepreneurs and business owners, and are strengthening their local economy. Shelton's Downtown Handmade Market takes place the first Saturday of each month, except for January, July and August.

Free parking is in back of the Conti Building at 415 Howe Ave. The Market will be held at the Conti building. To apply to be a vendor, click here.
