Fairfield County Man Nabbed With Weapons, Drugs In Vehicle During Stop, Police Say A Connecticut man was allegedly nabbed with weapons and drugs after police were called to a store for a shopper acting suspiciously. Fairfield County resident Oscar Rosado-Nazario, age 40, of Bridgeport, was charged on Wednesday, Jan. 17 in New Haven County in the Walmart parking lot in Milford. According to Milford Police, an employee at Dick's Sporting Goods called to report a shoplifter that was "acting suspiciously." A Connecticut school custodian is being credited with helping to apprehend a man with a gun outside of an elementary school. The incident took place outside of the Lincoln Bassett Community School at 130 Bassett St, New Haven on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the morning. In a letter to parents and the community, school officials said the custodian noticed the distraught man, who was carrying a weapon, outside the school and approached him. Bridgeport Search Warrant Yields Mulitple Weapons, Drugs A Bridgeport man was arrested following a search of his apartment that turned up multiple weapons and drugs following an investigation by the Statewide Urban Violence Cooperative Crime Control Task Force. Kareem Porter, 18, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, following the search in which detectives seized three 9mm handguns, a Tri-Star, Glock 17 and an FNP.
