Flood Advisory: New Round Of Thunderstorms Sweep Through Area A new round of thunderstorms sweeping through the area Tuesday night has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Warnings and Flood Advisories for the region.  The Flash Flood Warning, for Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties, is in effect until 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. The Flood Advisory, for Putnam and Fairfield counties, is in effect until 9:15 p.m. Just before 7 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the area.  Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. Danbury Native John Storti Dies At 25 Danbury Native John Storti Dies At 25
Danbury Native John Storti Dies At 25 Danbury native John J. Storti died on Sunday, March 18. He was 25 years old. John had been living in Walden and was a carpenter for Local 279 in Newburgh. He loved exploring adventures and being with his son and family.  He is survived by his parents, Mark Storti, Tracy Gida and her husband James Walden; son Kane Storti and his mother Cassandra Rodriguez; brother Eli Gida; sisters Brooke Storti and Rylee Storti; aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
