State Police Asking For Help IDing Victim Of Fatal CT Crash State police are asking the public for help identifying the victim of a violent fatal crash on I-91 in Hartford County. The crash took place around 5:40 p.m., Monday, May 24, north of exit 23 in Rocky Hill, said the Connecticut State Police. According to state police, the crash was so intense they have been unable to determine who the driver is, or what kind of Ford vehicle they were driving when it slammed into a bridge abutment. The crash took place around 3 a.m., Thursday, April 4, on the Route 72 ramp to I-84 east in Plainville after the driver drove through the guardrail, struck a bridge abutment and the vehicle caught fire, Connecticut State police said.
