Eversource Investing $72 Million In Tree Trimming Across Connecticut Following last year's devastation caused by Tropical Storm Isaias last year which brought down thousands of trees, Eversource is announcing a large tree maintenance program to be ready for the summer storms. In 2021, the energy company will be investing approximately $72 million in tree trimming and hazardous tree removal to enhance reliability for customers throughout Connecticut, company officials said.
