Speed Limits Changed On Nine Roads In Ridgefield Several changes have been made to the speed limits on a total of nine roads in Ridgefield, according to the Ridgefield Police Department. These speed limits went into effect between Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31 and are in line with the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Office of the State Traffic Administration approved town road speed limits. The following town roads and/or portions of town roads have been altered: 1. Lafayette Ave – Washington Street to Copps Hill Road (changed to 20 mph) 2.
