Woman Charged With DUI Following Crash On Route 7 A 61-year-old area woman was arrested for DUI after allegedly causing a traffic crash. Sheree Loud, of Wilton, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 3, after Wilton Police responded to the scene of the crash on Route 7 (Danbury Road), said the Wilton Police. Crash Damaging Pole Causes Road Closure In Stamford Motorists should take note that a roadway in Stamford remains closed Monday morning following a traffic crash that damaged a power pole, according to Stamford Police. Power company employees are replacing the pole on Pepper Ridge at Vine Road that was smashed during the crash around 8 p.m. Sunday, police said. Police said Pepper Ridge Road will remain closed until the repairs are complete, and did not have an exact time estimate.  Officers did not have information on the crash, or if anyone was injured. Greenwich Police Arrest Man For Leaving Scene Of Crash Police nabbed a Westchester man for leaving the scene of a traffic crash on East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. Daniel Serpa-Goncalves de Silveira, 41, of Port Chester, turned himself into police on Sunday for leaving the scene of an accident on Feb. 4, police said. He was charged with evading responsibility and ticketed for following too closely. Daniel Serpa-Goncalves de Silveira was released on a $1,000 bond.
