$6.5M To Go Toward Repaving Route 35 Near Ridgefield Border State officials have revealed that an extensive repaving project will soon improve conditions on a busy stretch of a main route in Northern Westchester.  In an announcement on Friday, May 10, New York State Sen. Pete Harckham and Assemblymember Chris Burdick revealed a $6.5 million resurfacing and paving project has started on a stretch of Route 35. The project will center on improving conditions on the 5.9-mile stretch of Route 35 between Route 22 in Bedford and Mead Street in Lewisboro. According to Gov. ID Released For 25-Year-Old Victim Of Fatal Hit-Run Involving Jeep Grand Cherokee State police have released the identity of the 25-year-old man struck and killed during a hit-and-run incident on Route 63. Tony Goncalves of Derby was struck and killed around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 63 near the Naugatuck-Bethany town line, said the Connecticut State Police. Investigators are looking for a 1997 to 2001 green Jeep Grand Cherokee that fatally struck Goncalves Sunday and then fled the area. State police said the Jeep in question would have front-end damage, including a broken or missing front headlight. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Yokley at …
