Teen Operating Vehicle Recklessly Killed In Crash On CT Roadway, Police Say
Police say a teen killed in a crash was driving a stolen vehicle in a reckless manner in Connecticut. The crash took place in New Haven County Wednesday, Nov. 9 in Derby. Derby Police said witnesses and video surveillance show the 16-year-old driving the stolen motorcycle was operating the bike on Seymour Avenue in a "reckless manner and was ejected after losing control." The teen sustained significant injuries and was transported to Griffin Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Know This Car? Suspect At Large After 16-Year-Old Shot While Playing Basketball
Police are searching for a vehicle involved in the shooting of a 16-year-old teen who was shot once while playing basketball. The incident took around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Woodend Road in Stratford when the teen was hit by a bullet in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. The lone shooting victim was shot by someone in what appears to be a silver car, possibly a Honda, with a distinctive black front bumper, Eannotti said.
