Pair Face Drug Charges In Stop By Danbury Police, K-9
Two local men were popped on drug-related charges during a traffic stop by Danbury Police Officer Alex Relyea and his new K-9 partner, Gunner.
Frederico Mateo-Ogando, 21, and Tahjae Roberts, 20, both of Danbury, were arrested around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after being stopped in the Balmforth Avenue area, said Lt. Mark Williams.
Relyea’s attention was brought to a vehicle being operated by Mateo-Ogando, as a computer check revealed the registration plate on the vehicle didn’t match the car he was operating. Based on that, Relyea initiated a motor vehicle stop while approaching the vehicle detecte…
