Felon On Probation Stopped While Driving 115 MPH With Loaded Gun On I-95, Police Say A Fairfield County man on probation was allegedly busted with a loaded gun after being stopped for driving 115 mph on I-95. Giovanni Candelario, 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 9, after his white 2014 Acura IIx20, was spotted traveling in excess of 115 mph and weaving through traffic on Route 8 South, south of Exit 8 in Bridgeport, said the Connecticut State Police. Mother With Baby In Car On Route 1 Caught With Heroin, Police Say A 23-year-old Hudson Valley woman who was pulled over with a toddler in the car in Connecticut was caught with heroin packaged for sale, police said.The incident occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 1 on Route 1 (Boston Post Road) near Home Acres Avenue in Milford. Tori Hinman of Wingdale in Dutchess County, was stopped after making an illegal U-turn in a parking lot, Milford Police said.  Hinman was found to be in possession of heroin, packaged for sale, as well as marijuana, according to police. Danbury Fugitive From Justice Nabbed In Putnam County A wanted fugitive from justice was nabbed by Putnam County Sheriff's deputies during a routine traffic stop in the Town of Southeast, according to Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. Deputy Daniel Meury was on patrol on Thursday around 7 p.m., on Route 22 in the Town of Southeast, when he saw a vehicle make a turn, without properly signaling, into the parking lot of Heidi’s Inn, located at 1270 Route 22.
