Students Walk Out Of Class At High Schools In Fairfield County After Racist Post Groups of high school students in Fairfield County walked out of class to protest recent racial incidents that came to a head following a racist social media post earlier this month. On Monday, May 24, students at Fairfield Warde High School orchestrated a mass walkout of hundreds of students that were also in collaboration with students across town at Ludlowe High School. Mold Concern Sparks Student Walkout At Westhill HS Students at Westhill High School in Stamford staged a walkout on Monday morning as they protest ongoing mold issues in the building. Hundreds of students took to the football field shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, after a message was circulated amongst students. During the walkout, students were advised to wear black and green, and many brought picket signs protesting the conditions at the school. Ridgefield Students Stand Up, Speak Out On School Walkout Day Hundreds of Fairfield County students, teachers and administrators participated in the National School Walkout on Wednesday to call on Congress for tighter gun control laws.
