Man Kills Himself On Interstate After Fatal Daytime Shooting In Central Massachusetts: Cops Massachusetts police are attempting to unravel the chaotic case of a man who is believed to have shot and killed someone in Worcester before he walked onto I-190, pointed his gun at terrified drivers, and then killed himself when officers had him cornered, authorities said.  It began around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when Worcester police were called to a home on Heroult Road to reports of a gunshot victim. They found a man bleeding from a serious wound.  Police gave him medical aid until paramedics arrived and rushed him to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced him…

Crash Leads To Hours-Long I-84 Closure Click here for an updated story: Several Injured, Including Two State Troopers, In Crash That Caused I-84 Closure A stretch of I-84 was closed for more than three hours Tuesday evening following a multi-vehicle crash with injuries involving an overturned car in Putnam County. The closure, which began just before 6 p.m., occurred on the eastbound just east of Exit 17 (Ludingtonville Road) in the Town of Kent following the crash.
