33-Year-Old CT Woman Found Dead In Backyard, Police Say Death 'Suspicious' Police in Connecticut are treating the death of a 33-year-old woman as "suspicious" after her body was found in a backyard. The body of Windham County resident Kristine Knox, of Plainfield, was found in Plainfield around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7. According to Plainfield Police, officers responded to 205 Cemetery Road for a report of a deceased person. On arrival, officers located Knox dead in the backyard of the home, police said. Man's Body Found Floating In Norwalk Harbor Police in are working to identify a man whose body was found floating in Norwalk Harbor. The incident took place around 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 27. According to Lt. Joe Dinho of the Norwalk Police, officers responded to the harbor after receiving a report from a boater of a body floating in the water. Norwalk Police Marine Unit and Norwalk Fire Marine Unit responded to the location and recovered the dead man.  A preliminary investigation did not reveal signs of obvious injuries and the individual did not have any identification on him, Dinho said.
