Man Accused Of Pointing Firearm In Road-Rage Incident Caught In Ridgefield A driver allegedly threatened someone with a gun in a road-rage incident in Wilton then got nabbed by cops in Ridgefield, according to Wilton Police. On Friday, Aug. 16 at about 7:15 a.m., police responded to the area of Danbury Road and Mountain Road in Wilton on a report of the incident, police said. Head-On Crash Leads To Hours-Long Route 7 Closure This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 7 was closed for four hours Friday morning following a serious two-vehicle head-on crash. The northbound closure occurred just north of Wilton High School between Olmstead Hill Road and Route 107/Route 57/School Street. The roadway reopened around 11 a.m. following an accident investigation.
