Suspect Nabbed In Westport Burglary, Police Say An alleged burglar was tracked down by police in Fairfield County after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a burglary and other items. A Westport homeowner reported to police at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 that he had returned home to find that both of his garage doors were opened overnight, despite being closed the day before. The homeowner told police that a bicycle with a value of approximately $600 had been taken from the garage, as well as other items. Burglary Suspect Nabbed Inside Occupied Northern Westchester Home, Police Say A local man was arrested on burglary and other charges after he allegedly broke into an occupied Northern Westchester home. Westchester County Police received a call shortly before 11:30 a.m., Sunday, March 1, reporting a burglary was in progress at 68 Maple Avenue, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the department. Another person said the resident had just confronted an intruder in his apartment. Homeowner Confronts Suspects During Attempted Burglary In Cos Cob, Police Say Two men were nabbed by Greenwich Police after they allegedly attempted to break into a Cos Cob home, only to be confronted by the homeowner. Jacob Rivera, 26, and Nafi Rodriguez, 23, both of the Bronx, were arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 1, after they  “were confronted by the homeowner when they attempted to force entry through a rear door," Greenwich Police said. Two Women Nabbed In Norwalk Vehicle Burglary Spree Two women have been busted in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries that took place in June.  Norwalk Detectives investigated four motor vehicle burglaries that occurred in the parking garage at 770 Connecticut Ave., during June, said Norwalk Police Lt.Terry Blake.
