Covid-19: New Omicron Cases, Deaths Confirmed In CT; Latest Breakdown Of Cases
Nearly five dozen new COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the past week in Connecticut, eclipsing the 9,000 death marks across the state, which is dealing with new cases of the Omicron variant.
In the past week, Connecticut hospitals recorded 56 new virus-related deaths, bringing the total as of Thursday, Dec. 16 to 9,002 statewide since the pandemic began in March 2020.
