Cow Crashes Into Car On Busy Upstate NY Roadway An area driver received a minor injury after striking a cow that was in the roadway in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28 in Red Hook in Dutchess County. According to the Red Hook Police Department,  officers were dispatched for a car versus cow auto accident on North Broadway. 31-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle NY Crash Involving Litchfield County Man A 31-year-old man was killed after being entrapped during a two-vehicle crash. The crash took place around 5:15 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5, in Amenia, said Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Area Man Killed When Car Leaves Road, Hits Tree Officials have released the identification of the man who died in a fatal crash in the area on Tuesday. Adrian Mayo, 35, of Waterbury, was killed after he lost control of his car around 9 a.m. on Shunpike Road near Kennels Road in town of Washington, said Capt. John Watterson with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. After losing control, the vehicle crossed over the center pavement markings and struck a tree on the northern shoulder. Mayo, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Watterson said. Police said unsafe speed seemed to be the primary factor in the crash. …
