A 25-year-old Connecticut man died from a gunshot wound following a fight.
New Haven County resident Deshawn Maysonet, of Hamden, died on Saturday, March 16 in New Haven.
According to Officer Christian Bruckhart of the New Haven Police, officers responded to the area of Fairmont Avenue, between East Ferry Street and Lancraft Street, on the report of a person shot.

The deaths of a man and woman found dead from gunshot wounds inside a Connecticut home have been ruled a murder-suicide, according to the state's Chief Medical Examiner's Office.

Jennifer Green, age 52, and Stanley Green, age 62, both of New Haven, who are married, were found around 8:16 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 14 in the 700 block of Russell Street.

College Student Killed In Stabbing On CT Roadway
A man who was stabbed to death in Connecticut has been identified as a student at Southern Connecticut State University.
Nico Saraceni, age 29, was found around 9:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10, in New Haven on Whalley Avenue, between Whittlesey Avenue and Osborn Avenue, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police.
American Medical Response transported Saraceni to Yale New Haven Hospital where he died from his injuries, he added.

CT Moped Driver Killed In Crash, Police Say
A 35-year-old Connecticut man driving a moped was killed during a crash with a Nissan.
The crash took place in New Haven around 5:40 a.m., Sunday, July 31 on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard.
When officers responded to the scene, located between Adeline Street and Printers Lane, they found the driver of the moped, identified as Antonio Cruz-Oritz, of New Haven unresponsive, said Sgt. Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police.
American Medical Response transported Cruz-Ortiz to Yale New Haven Hospital where he died from his injuries, Shumway said.
