Man Dies From Injuries Week After Shooting At Tractor-Trailer Training Center In Bridgeport A 28-year-old man who was shot multiple times, including once in the head, last month at the New England Tractor-Trailer Training School in Bridgeport has died from his injuries. Suspect Apprehended After Man Shot Dead In Front Of Gas Station In Bridgeport Bridgeport police were able to quickly make an arrest in the shooting death of a 50-year-old man found dead in front of a gas station. Jayvell Washington, 39, of Bridgeport was arrested around 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, just hours after the man was found shot to death in front of a Citgo gas station around 9 a.m. Sunday at 915 Reservoir Ave., Bridgeport, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
