Luisa Melchionne, age 37, of New Canaan, was arrested on a warrant on Thursday, July 11, in connection with a complaint filed in April. According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police, the department began an investigation into the claims of an inappropriate relationship with a student at Nathan Hill Middle School in Norwalk. Norwalk High School was put in its lockdown at approximately noon on Friday, Dec. 3 as police investigated the threat with multiple officers while students and staff remained in the school.
