Man Made Purchases With Counterfeit Money At Trumbull Mall, Police Say
A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly using counterfeit money to make purchases at the Trumbull Mall. Namon Donnel Johnson of the Bronx was arrested Saturday after he fled on foot from Trumbull Police after being stopped and questioned about counterfeiting, department officials said in a press release. Police were called to the mall around 7:15 p.m. after Johnson reportedly used a fake $100 bill to make a video game purchase at a store in the mall.
