Man Nabbed For Driving Drunk, Wrong Way In Darien, Police Say A man from Massachusetts was arrested for driving his truck the wrong way down a Connecticut road in an apparent drunk driving incident, police reported. It happened on Sunday, July 23 on Boston Post Road (Route 1) in Darien, according to Darien police. At approximately 2:15 a.m., police arrived at Post Road on reports that an intoxicated man was driving a white pickup truck in the wrong lane. Fatal Crash: Man Walking On I-91 Hit By 3 Vehicles, CT State Police Say A man walking in the travel lanes of a busy Connecticut highway was hit and killed after being run over by three vehicles. The crash took place on I-91 southbound just north of Exit 3 in New Haven around 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26. According to Connecticut State Police, the unidentified man was walking in the travel lanes when he was hit by a Honda Pilot driven by a 33-year-old New Haven man. Second Teen Charged In Fairfield County Crash That Killed Two Women A second teen has been charged in connection with the deaths of two women in a crash in Fairfield County in April.The two killed -- 18-year-old Shalymar Herrera of West Haven and 23-year-old Briana Torres-Carter of Bridgeport, who was pregnant --were passengers in a Mini Cooper that was being driven by Herrera's husband, Lawrence Carter, 19, of Bridgeport.
