CT Woman Assaults Officer With Soda While In Custody, Police Say A New Haven County woman made matters worse for herself after allegedly assaulting an officer with soda following her violation of a restraining order, police said.  The incident began on Wednesday, June 28 when Milford Police responded to a Milford Point Road residence after receiving a report of a restraining order violation.  According to Milford Police, a victim told arriving officers that the suspect, 64-year-old Kathleen Thibault, had shown up at their residence and began yelling at them, violating her already-existing restraining order against the victim.  After …

5 Retailers Accused Of Selling Tobacco Products, E-Cigarettes To Minors After CT Detail Five Connecticut businesses were caught allegedly selling tobacco and e-cigarette to minors during a compliance check. The checks took place in New Haven County on Monday, Nov. 14 in Milford. The Milford Police Department working with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Tobacco Prevention and Enforcement Program conducted unannounced compliance inspections of establishments that sell tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes. CT Woman Arrested After Violating Protective Order, Police Say A Connecticut woman was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order and kicking items and a man. Dawn Dominici, 57, of Milford, was arrested on Dec. 19, after Milford Police responded to a home on Milford Point Road address on the report of a possible domestic violence incident.  An investigation found that Dominici allegedly violated the conditions of a protective order by kicking items and pushing a man, Milford Police said.  She was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a $1,000 bond.  Dominici is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 2…
