High-Speed Head-On, Wrong-Way Crash Kills CT Woman, State Police Say Connecticut State Police is seeking witnesses and dashcam video footage in a wrong-way fatal crash that left an area woman dead. The late afternoon crash, killed a New Haven County woman around 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, on I-691 in Hartford County in Southington, when she slammed into a tractor-trailer at a high-speed driving in the wrong direction, state police said.
