Woman Charged In Fatal Stamford Crash After Turning Herself In
A Stamford woman has been arrested in a fatal crash that killed an 81-year-old local woman while she was walking through a parking lot in March. Marie Infante, 66, turned herself into police Friday after an investigation found that she was at fault in the deadly crash that occurred around 7 p.m. on March 6 at the Newfield Green Shopping Center, said Stamford Police Sgt. Andrew Gallagher. Stamford Van Driver Charged In Pedestrian Death
Stamford Police have charged a work van driver with second-degree manslaughter in the death of Lynette Wagner, of Fairfield, while she was walking across Elm Street on her way to work in January. George Christiansen, 29, of Stamford, struck Wagner with his van at the corner of Elm Street and North State Street as the Henkel employee and mother of two walked to work, police said. Sgt.
