Child With Mysterious Illness Linked To Covid-19 Dies In Westchester A child has died in Westchester from a serious inflammatory disease linked to novel coronavirus (COVID-19), county health officials announced. Westchester County Executive George Latimer said that 11 children have been treated for pediatric multi-system inflammatory syndrome at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, including the child, a boy, who died.
