ID Released By CT State Police For Man Found Dead On Side Of Road A man found dead on the side of Route 2 by a Department of Transportation worker has been identified. Jermaine Williams, 23, of Vernon, was found around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, on the shoulder area of westbound Route 2  at Exit 4 in the town of East Hartford, said Connecticut State Police. According to witnesses in the area, they observed what they believed was a person lying in the travel portion of the roadway.
