Man Arrested After Threats Made To Puerto Rican Festival In New Haven, Police Say A 53-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly made a threatening social media comment regarding a Puerto Rican festival in the area. Police launched an investigation after the threat was posted Wednesday, Aug. 7 on Facebook in response to a television station's post about the festival, which runs Saturday, Aug. 10 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the New Haven green. The comment said the festival was an example of why "we need 30-round magazines."
