Lifelong Area Residents Welcome Apartments At Reader's Digest Ginny Enright, 85, has lived in Chappaqua for the past 54 years.  Now, Enright is one of the first residents of Chappaqua Crossing Apartments. Her friend of over 50 years just moved in, too. "I was ready to sell my house and not have the responsibilities and it seemed ideal to be able to come here, where I would be in the same town and be able to use the same facilities as I had been using," said Enright, who works at the Chappaqua Public Library. 2.2 Magnitude Earthquake Reported Near Northern Westchester/Putnam Border Storm Watch: Latest Update On Timing, Projected Snow/Ice Totals Did you feel it? A 2.2 magnitude earthquake was reported early Wednesday morning near the Northern Westchester/Putnam about 3 miles north, northwest of Mohegan Lake. The earthquake was reported at 6:14 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.  The quake’s epicenter was in Crofts Corner in Putnam Valley, and located 7.7 miles from Jefferson Valley and 9 miles from Peekskill, according to the USGS.
