A Connecticut man who police arrested last year after he allegedly posted a video of himself kissing a child as part of a "social media trend" is facing more charges after police searched his New Haven County home. William L. Gordon, age 45, of Naugatuck, first came to the authorities' attention in Oct. 2023, when he posted a video on social media of him kissing a 10-year-old, Naugatuck Police said. New Britain Duo Charged In Death Of 4-Year-Old Bristol Girl
Two people have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a 4-year-old girl in June. Hartford County residents Ashley Hernandez-DeJesus, age 28, and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus, age 31, both of New Britain, were arrested on warrants on Tuesday, Dec. 27 by Bristol Police. Information surrounding the case was sealed by authorities. The only information available was that the unnamed child died in June. Child-Care Worker Accused Of Force-Feeding Infant, Greenwich Police Say
A 56-year-old child-care worker has been arrested for allegedly force-feeding an infant at a daycare center. Karen Von Tobel of Greenwich was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 12, following a months-long investigation by the Greenwich Police Department's Special Victim's Unit, said Capt. Robert Berry. Police were first notified on Oct. 23 by a caseworker from the Department of Children and Families of an incident that had taken place on Oct. 16, at a childcare facility in Greenwich, Berry said. Old Greenwich Woman Held On Intentional Cruelty To Persons Charges
A 40-year-old woman was arrested for intentional cruelty following a months-long investigation by the Special Victims Unit. Evelyn Stowell of Old Greenwich was arrested Monday, July 2 on a warrant and charged with intentional cruelty to persons, the risk of injury to a child, and assault, following the investigation which began in April, an arrest report says. Greenwich Police officials said due to the nature of the crime, they could not release additional information. Stowell is being held on $25,000 bond.
