As all eyes are trained on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), there were two more flu-related deaths in Connecticut last week, bringing the total to 72 for the season.

Flu season is in full gear, with another flu-related death reported this week in Connecticut, as the Department of Public Health described the "influenza activity classification" as “widespread.”
According to the Department of Public Health, during the week of Monday, Dec. 1, a third flu-associated death was reported, each oner the age of 65. There were 29 new hospitalizations for flu-related symptoms, bringing the total to 120 on the season.
