The crash took place in Stamford around 12:25 a.m., Thursday, June 1, on I-95 northbound in the area of Exit 8. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2017 Nissan Rouge driven by Massachusetts resident Emmanuel Pierre, age 26, of Worcester left its lane of travel for an unknown reason and struck the metal beam guard rail in the right shoulder approximately a quarter of a mile north of Exit 8, state police said. Man Nabbed In Fairfield County In Stolen Car Linked To Homicide A Connecticut man was nabbed in a stolen car linked to a homicide following a chase through Fairfield County. Fairfield County Bank Robber Caught Shortly After Crime, Police Say A man was nabbed for an alleged robbery of a TD bank in Fairfield County. Richard Davila, age 59, of Stratford, was arrested for the robbery which took place around 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Bridgeport, said Detective Jeffrey A. Holtz, of the Bridgeport Police Department. According to Holtz, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers rapidly responded to a panic alarm at the TD Bank branch at 4865 Main St. at the intersection with Old Town Road.
