Juvenile Arrested For Breaking Into Occupied Home In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County juvenile was charged after allegedly breaking into a home and struggling with the homeowners. The incident took place around 3 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, when Stamford Police received a call of people struggling with a person who had entered their home in the area of Liberty Street. According to Sgt. Four Vehicles Stolen, One House Burglarized In Fairfield County Four vehicles were stolen and a home burglarized in Fairfield County overnight. The first incident was reported around 6 a.m., Friday, Aug. 20 when officers responded to a home in Westport in the Compo Beach area of town. Charles Wood Wright, age 18, of New Canaan, was arrested on Sunday, July 11, following the crash which place on Heritage Hill Road, said the New Canaan Police. According to police, officers responded to a crash involving a BMW which had struck a tree located off the road. When officers arrived, the vehicle was unoccupied and heavily damaged. Home Burglary, Larcenies Under Investigation In Lewisboro A Northern Westchester police chief is warning residents of a recent home burglary and numerous vehicle larcenies. The home burglary took place around 7 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 12, on Brundige Drive in the Goldens Bridge section of town, said Lewisboro Police Chief David Alfano. According to the chief, a Lewisboro officer responded to a burglary alarm notice and when he arrived at the residence, found a broken back sliding glass door and muddy footprints leading inside. The officer called for backup and a New York State trooper responded, as well as a K-9 unit and several officers.  …

Wanted: Police Ask Public's Help In Search For Home Burglary Suspect Do you know him? Police are the public for help in identifying a man who might be involved with a home burglary that took place last week. The man was photographed on surveillance around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, near Barnum and Broadbridge avenues in Stratford.  He was wearing white pants, glasses, a winter hat and was carrying what appears to be some type of backpack on his back.  Stratford Police said he appears to be a painter or taper. New Canaan Home Burglarized While Family Away On Vacation, Police Say Following a home burglary in New Canaan in which the family was away on vacation, police are asking residents to be sure and secure their residences. The burglary was discovered around 10:51 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at a home on Route 106 (Silvermine Road) when the family returned from vacation and found they had been the target of thieves, said New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.
