Danbury Teen In Stolen Car Caught After Police Chase Ends In Crash A teen was apprehended after a police chase involving a stolen car ended with a crash in Fairfield County. Newtown Police were dispatched to a residence on Cedar Hill Road in Newtown to investigate the report of a car being stolen around 4 a.m. on Thursday, June 28.  A Newtown patrol officer was in the area and spotted the stolen vehicle and became involved in a very short pursuit before the stolen car crashed and the suspect fled the scene, Newtown Police said.
