A pair of United States Post Office mailboxes were pried open and their contents were stolen during a late-night heist, police said. The Westport Police Department issued an alert warning that on Aug. 31, the USPS mailboxes on 275 Post Road East and 31 Riverside Ave. were broken into and robbed.
